Signs

It is arguable that the process of falling in love is confirmed through signs in nature and supernaturally in other dimensions, in order that the force may be revealed as having come from above.  She certainly thought so.  She had witnessed the most compelling set of signs during the first age of love (some of which have been recounted) and had cause to be so charmed at the onset of the second because the signs dropped like a meteor shower of the Perseids on a hot August night.  So sure was she, that after a very few number of dates – maybe 5 or 6 - their penultimate before the obligatory period of separation, she indelibly wrote his name 3 times in the fixed stars (see above), swiftly followed by her own signature.

This was while he waited for the train and, although he did not believe in such things, he would spend most of the rest of his life believing in her.  This was something which took her years to figure out.
